A souvenir which displays the triumph of Indian retaliation against Pakistani Infantry forces. The spot displays the contents of historical battle fought at Longewala. It is Located at around 110 kms from Jaisalmer towards western Rajasthan. In 1971 war of Indo-Pak, Longewala was the strategic point for Pakistani forces to get the way through till Jaisalmer. The trespass plan outnumbered the then existing Indian forces, who deter the invasion with their gallant efforts. Indian Air force with its meticulous aerial bombing combined well with ground forces to compel the invaders to return. The two Tanks of Pakistani forces destroyed at 1971 war are restored at ‘Sthal’ to display the iconic victory of India. The visitors may assimilate a patriotic and a memorable visit.
