Find the traveller in you:

I have been obsessed with travelling since my college days and it is than that I realized that, how I can travel for longer duration with minimum luggage and how travel can be made a more pleasurable experience with travel hacks. So my motto here is “Keep light to travel right”. This becomes all the more important when we travel with family and children, since with the number of people the luggage bags tend to increase. Next most important step is to choose your tour package, tour package provider, Vehicle Rental and tour companion with prudence.

  • Download a map:

If you are travelling to a new place, the most important thing to keep in mind is that download a map on google and keeps it handy.

  • Pack things with travel organizer pouches:

Take small packing cubes to manage your clothes, electronic gadgets, undergarments & many more.

  • Duplicate copy of documents

Scan your important documents and keep softcopy with yourself, so that you don’t have to run from pillar to post when you actually need them.

  • Mark your luggage

Tie a small bright ribbon on your baggage, so that you don’t find it difficult to locate your luggage in the heap of baggage or you don’t end up taking up some else’s bag.

 Compact Packing

Roll your clothes to save space. Make your packing bags as compact as possible.

  • Cloths according to weather

Pack your luggage according to the city weather. Comfort should come before style statement.

  • Drink lots of water

Keep yourself hydrated; always carry a water bottle with you.

  • Basic kits

Carry a basic first-aid kit in anticipation. Example an antiseptic, gauge, bandage and a small scissor.

  • Online booking

Go for online as well as advance bookings so that you don’t go for last minute rush.

  • Share live location

Rajasthan is a very safe place but still we will advise you to share your live location with your loved ones. This becomes all the more important if you are travelling alone.

  • Choose your companion

Travel is a matter of choice, so always make your choice as pleasurable as possible. Choose your travel companion wisely to ensure compatibility.

  • Download Google Translate for use offline

If you’re travelling abroad and don’t speak the language, it’s handy to have Google Translate loaded and ready. Here’s a way how to go about it : download the Google Translate app, then go to Settings and choose “Offline Translation”. From there, you can download different languages

  • Carry essentials

Always carry your medicines and cosmetics in your baggage, because you may never know whether you will get them immediately

  • Save money

Bring an empty bottle to the airport and refill it there, this helps you save on paying for drinking water

  • Charge from TV

Lost or forgotten your wall plug for your charger? No worries, most modern TVs have a USB connector on the back or side. Simply plug in your electrical device and watch that little battery icon charge.

  • Carry a Spare Battery

Always carry a power bank with you, when you travel. It may so happen sometimes that you travel for long distance and don’t an opportunity to charge your mobile.

  • Spare Copies

Email yourself a scan of your passport, to meet any un- anticipated situation. In case you lose your passport or baggage all together, you won’t remain stranded if you at least have your passport

  • Mark as fragile

Mark your luggage as fragile, not only does this mean your bag is more likely to be handled correctly, but it’ll also find itself at the top of pile in the storage compartment of the plane.

  • Use ATMs

Use local ATM’s to get local currency. Money converters usually have their own fees and rip-off exchange rates, most likely to be far worse than your bank.

  • Inform your credit or debit card company

It’s important to remember to call your credit or debit card company before you leave to ensure that you have your card authorized for foreign destination. This prevents them from suspecting suspicious activity.

  • Book a local guide
